YOGYAKARTA (October 5, 2020) - "The training provided to Family Development Session (FDS) Family Hope Program (PKH) companion participants will then be transferred to the community or Beneficiary Families (KPM). All knowledge and knowledge obtained must be conveyed properly according to its purpose."

This was conveyed by the Head of the Education, Research and Social Counseling Agency of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, Syahabbudin when opening the Family Development Session (FDS) Training for Family Hope Program (PKH) Companion VII Group at the Center for Social Welfare Education and Training (BBPPKS) Yogyakarta, Monday ( 5/10).

“The issue of education and child care, family economic management, child protection, how to deal with and care for the elderly and how to treat disabilities. All important and good to learn. Never stop learning," explained Syahabuddin.

According to Syahabuddin, PKH HR is the funnel of the Ministry of Social Affairs, the army and troops of Ministry of Social Affairs. On this occasion, Syahabuddin conveyed the message of the Minister of Social Affairs, Juliari Batubara, to all PKH human resources

"First, keep Pancasila and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia as fixed prices. Second, never hold a KKS KPM. Third, if there is labeling at the KPM house in the form of a poor group's house, please change it to a beneficiary or underprivileged group, so that their children would not feel discouraged. Fourth, those who will be affiliated or run for office or become a political successing team, please leave PKH HR. Keep the good name of the Ministry of Social Affairs," he explained.

In addition to receiving reinforcement from the Head of the Agency, Training Participants also received material on Techniques, Communication Strategies and Social Assistance motivation, by Rumartani, a motivator and communication expert.

"Communication techniques and strategies are indispensable for social assistants who are in the field every day and interact with the community," said Rumartani.

According to him, if the social assistant has expertise in communication, it will make it easier to carry out daily tasks in conveying information to KPM. In addition, mentors must have high motivation and a positive mindset, mentors must also have skills to encourage changes in KPM behavior.
