“Satria” Center in Baturraden Distributes ATENSI Support for PPKS in Kendal
KENDAL (23 September 2021) – Social Rehabilitation
Center “Satria” Baturraden again distributed Social Rehabilitation Assistance
(ATENSI) support for Social Welfare Service Recipient (PPKS) in the form of
entrepreneurship assistance to fulfill basic needs for Victims of Drug Abuse, persons
with social deviance issues, Elderly as well as assistance for orphans, fatherless
and motherless whose parents died of Covid-19 in Kendal, Central Java.
“Satria” Baturraden
distributed Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) support for 97 orphans
whose parents died of COVID-19 in the amount of Rp. 20,800,000, - assistance
for basic needs for 274 people in the amount of Rp. entrepreneurship needs and
services for 156 people in the amount of Rp. 123.400.000,-. The total ATENSI
assistance distributed was Rp. 421.400.000,-.
MH (20 years old), a
victim of drug abuse from Kendal assisted by Satria Baturraden and the
At-Tauhid Reporting Recipient Institution (IPWL) Semarang seemed enthusiastic
when receiving entrepreneurial assistance in the form of equipment to sell Boba
drinks from the Ministry of Social Affairs through Satria Baturraden.
The assistance was handed
over directly by the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia,
Tri Rismaharini, together with members of Commission VIII DPR RI Buchori who
made a working visit to Kendal Regency.
MK was pleased to receive
entrepreneurship assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs. Previously, he
had helped his friend sell Boba.
“I plan to sell Boba in
Kebondalem, near my sister's house. In the future, I hope to be able to
increase my merchandise, to be able to open branches in other places,"
explained MH.
MK used drugs from the
age of 14 to the age of 19 because of the influence of his peers. Until finally
MK’s parents took him to IPWL At-Tauhid Semarang to undergo the
rehabilitation process.
It has been 6 months
since MK underwent the rehabilitation process at IPWL At-Tauhid. Now he feels
that he can be closer to God, more steadfast in living life so that later when
he returns to society he will not relapse again.
