Social Minister Gives Compensation for East Java Earthquake Victims, TRC BBPPKS Yogya Comes to Rescue
MALANG (11 April 2021) - Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini and Coordinating Minister for PMK Muhadjir Effendy, visited the locations affected by the earthquake in Ampelgading District, Malang City, East Java. The Minister of Social Affairs ensures that the logistics and assistance from the government are sufficient for the needs of the refugees. The public kitchen in the field that was set up also did not escape his attention. After seeing the disaster map, the Minister of Social Affairs provided compensation to the heirs of the deceased.
The Yogyakarta BBPPKS Omah
Guyub TRC team is also in the affected area and ready to join other volunteers
to help with various victim handling processes. Yogyakarta BBPPKS TRC consists
of RM Agung Hardiyanto, Prih Wardoyo and Danang Tri Nugroho. The team will be
at the location for the next 3 days and provide Psychosocial Support Services
to victims affected by the earthquake.
LDP is one of the activities
carried out by the Competency Service Center (PUSYANTENSI) HR of Social
Welfare, Omah Guyub BBPPKS Yogyakarta, the Disaster Response Unit which was
recently soft launched by the Head of BBPPKS Yogyakarta.
