Social Minister Risma: There is No Mercy for Unprincipled PKH Companions

Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini, accompanied by the Director General of Social Protection and Security, Pepen Nazaruddin, Secretary of the Directorate General of Social Protection and Security, Robben Rico, and Director of Family Social Security (JSK), Rachmat Koesnadi, made a working visit to Malang Regency to hand over new Prosperous Family Cards (KKS) to 32 Family Beneficiaries of Family Hope Program (KPM PKH) in Kanigoro Village, District Performance, Malang, Tuesday (29/6).

The KPM PKH received a new KKS as for the last 5 years (ed: since 2017), they did not know their membership status in PKH as beneficiaries due to the misuse of social assistance by PKH Companions so they have never received PKH social assistance.

In front of the Regent and Deputy Regent of Malang, as well as Forkopimda Malang, the Minister of Social Affairs promised that, in the future, she and her staff would more often take firm steps to PKH Companions in order to minimize similar incidents that harm the beneficiaries. She also asked for help from local stakeholders to continue to monitor the implementation of PKH.
