"Soeharso" Surakarta Center Receives a Working Visit Regarding Electric Wheelchairs
SURAKARTA (August 5, 2021) – Social Rehabilitation
Center “Soeharso” Surakarta received a working visit from the Social
Rehabilitation Center “Phala Martha” Sukabumi and “Pangudi Luhur” Bekasi. The
visit was carried out in the context of coordination and consultation regarding
the assignment of the procurement of electric wheelchairs given to Phala Martha
and Pangudi Luhur.
Phala Martha team led by
the Head of Center, Cup Santo, and Pangudi Luhur team led by the Head of Center,
Kokom Komalasari were received directly by the Head of the Soeharso Center,
Juena Sitepu.
Cup Santo and Kokom said
that the Soeharso Center was the one that had produced electric wheelchairs and
had become a reference for the Centers in the Technical Implementation Unit
(UPT) of the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation.
"On this occasion, we
want to know the specifications and learn firsthand how to assemble an electric
wheelchair," said Cup Santo. "In addition, we also want to consult
regarding the mechanism for the wheelchair procurement," he added.
Juena Sitepu welcomed the
arrival of the Phala Martha and Pangudi Luhur team who had visited and
coordinated with Soeharso Center.
"You will be able to
see and consult directly with us," said Juena. "We are ready to share
about electric wheelchairs," she added.
Next, Phala Martha and
Pangudi Luhur team went around to the prostheses and orthoses workshop to see
the electric wheelchair and some of its components. The team was received by
the Head of the Prothese and Orthose Workshop, Wahyudi.
