JAKARTA (25 August 2021) – The "Ciungwanara'' Center (Balai) of the Ministry of Social Affairs in Bogor dispatches Social Workers and Nurses to assist with Covid-19 vaccination for 23 beneficiaries in Gunung Sahari Jakarta. Those beneficiaries were from the Social Welfare Institution (LKS) Ananda Sabilul Hudaa Bogor Regency.

Previously, Balai "Ciungwanara" had carried out an assessment of several LKS in the City and Regency of Bogor to collect data on beneficiaries who had not received the Covid-19 vaccination.

This vaccination activity was a collaboration of the Ministry of Health, the Department of Population and Civil Registration and the Ministry of Social Affairs. In today's vaccination, two beneficiaries of LKS Ananda Sabilul Hudaa recorded their ID cards. Meanwhile, another beneficiary printed an ID card.

Muhammad Al Yafi Romli, the representative of LKS Ananda Sabilul Hudaa, thanked the Ministry of Social Affairs particularly Balai "Ciungwanara" for helping beneficiaries to get vaccinations from the government.

“We are very grateful to Balai "Ciungwanara" Bogor who has recorded our data through assessments. Today our children have been vaccinated. Once again, thank you very much to the Ministry of Social Affairs," said Muhammad Al Yafi Romli.

Head of Balai "Ciungwanara", Siti Sari Rumayanti said that the Ministry of Social Affairs will always try to help people who need assistance, in any case, one of which is vaccination.

"This vaccine for Covid-19 is useful to prevent infection. Administering vaccines stimulates specific immunity in our body," explained Sari.

Having full-dose of the Covid-19 vaccines as the recommended schedule can avoid Covid-19. Moreover, the following behaviours such as wearing a mask, washing hands with soap and running water or hand sanitizer, maintaining distance, staying away from crowds and reducing mobility are brilliant ways to avoid Covid-19.

"In addition to vaccine assistance, we have a few nutritional gifts for all beneficiaries who have been vaccinated. Hopefully, with post-vaccination nutrition, there are no side effects," concluded Sari.

"N", a beneficiary of LKS Ananda Sabilul Hudaa thanked the Ministry of Social Affairs for the vaccination.

"Thank you very much. We also received food packages after having the vaccine. Hopefully, we all stay healthy," said N.
