SRAGEN (6 September 2021) – Social Rehabilitation
Center “Satria” Baturraden distributes Social Rehabilitation Assistance
(ATENSI) support in the form of entrepreneurship assistance and assistance to
fulfill basic needs to 20 victims of drug abuse at the Indonesian Lentera
Bangsa Foundation (YLBI) Recipient Institution for Reporting Obligation (IPWL)
Sragen, Central Java.
About 7 (seven) Drug
Abuse Victims received entrepreneurship assistance in the form of sewing
machines, bread making equipment, workshop tools, and 1 goat, while assistance
for meeting basic needs in the form of nine basic ingredients, nutrition, and
cleaning equipment was given to 13 (thirteen) Drugs Abuse Victims who still
undergoing a rehabilitation program at IPWL YLBI Sragen.
This entrepreneurship
assistance and assistance to fulfill basic needs was symbolically handed over
by a member of Commission VIII DPR RI Paryono who made a working visit to his
constituents accompanied by the Head of Satria Center, Darmanto.
Paryono said that the
drug issue is a serious business together and must be followed up, especially
the victims who abuse it.
"The most important
thing is that there is a follow-up from the beneficiaries by involving various
sectors, including health, social, and other related parties to
alleviate this problem. The intended follow-up is economic empowerment as an
effort to accept Drug Abuse Victims in the community. IPWL is a form of the government's presence in eradicating illicit trafficking and drug abuse in
Indonesia," said Paryono during his visit.
Head of Satria Center of Baturraden,
Darmanto expressed his gratitude for Paryono's visit as a member of Commission
VIII DPR RI to IPWL Indonesian Lentera Bangsa Foundation Sragen, one of the IPWL
under the coordination of Satria Center.
"This is a form of
concern and a manifestation of the government's seriousness in paying attention
to the victims of drug abuse in Indonesia, especially the Sragen area and its surroundings,"
said Darmanto.
