JAKARTA (August 13, 2021) - Towards the commemoration of the 76th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia (HUT RI), the Ministry of Social Affairs will hold an exhibition and bazaar for 2 (two) days on August 12-13, 2021, at the Ministry of Social Affairs office yard on Salemba Raya Street No. 28, Central Jakarta.

The exhibitors consisted of representatives from each Work Unit of Echelon I of the Ministry of Social Affairs and some technical implementation units within the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation.

"Tan Miyat" Center (Balai) in Bekasi participated in enlivening the exhibition and bazaar by bringing the handicrafts of beneficiaries (PM) and food products from PM's parents as a form of family support.

The handicrafts and food products brought included mask connectors, mask straps, key chains, bracelets, necklaces, brooches, tissue holders and baskets for mineral water. As for food products, there were Chicken Egg Roll, Tofu Meatballs, Meatballs, Fruit Salad, Mango Sticky Rice, Cheese Sticks, Macaroni Brulee, various Pepes and skin crackers.

On this occasion, Balai "Tan Miyat" also introduced beverage products of various fruit juices, Mango Cheese Milk, and Strawberry Milk Latte packaged in bottles. The introduction of this beverage product is a pre-launch for the "Tan Miyat" cafe as a part of ATENSI Creation Center (SKA) in Liposos Bekasi.

Idit Supriadi Priatna, the Secretary of Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation and the coordinator at the exhibition and bazaar gave a positive response to the contemporary drink product introduced by Balai "Tan Miyat" Bekasi.

"This is something new that I saw from "Tan Miyat". There's no such thing like this before, right?" said Idit appreciating Balai "Tan Miyat".

Although the exhibition and bazaar were not open to the public, the enthusiasm was contagious. Ministry of Social Affairs employees took turns visiting each stand, both to see the handicrafts on display and to shop.

Even though the exhibition and bazaar were carried out during the Community Activities Restrictions Enforcement (PPKM) period, it implemented strict health protocols. There was enough space for each stand, the stand clerk was limited to a maximum of 2 (two) people, and all visitors were required to wear masks. As a form of support, Balai "Tan Miyat" Bekasi also provided hand sanitiser for visitors who stop by at the Balai "Tan Miyat" stand.
