The Director General of PFM Reviews the Distribution of Presidents' Social Assistance
JAKARTA (May 3rd, 2020) – Director General of Poverty Handling (Dirjen PFM), Asep Sasa Purnama, conducted an observation of the President’s Social Assistance in West Jakarta.
On this occasion, the Director General of PFM, accompanied by the Director of PFM Region II, Mr. I Wayan Wirawan, visited three locations in West Jakarta—Kelurahan Kapuk RW 16, Kecamatan Cengkarang, and Kelurahan Kamal RW 4 and RW 8, Kecamatan Kalideres.
The Director General of PFM hopes that with the Social Assistance from the President, it can enable people to face the COVID-19 pandemic and not return to their hometown. “With this basic food assistance, it is hoped that the beneficiary families can have additional food reserves in particular,” said the Director General of PFM.
The distribution of the President’s Social Assistance was conducted together with the Local Government, Satpol PP (Civil Service Police Unit), Head of Urban Village, Head of RW, Heads of RT, as well as other community members by working hand-in-hand and obeying guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic.
