JAKARTA (11 May 2022) - Previously, the Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini, visited the residence of a toddler with hydrocephalus (swelling of the head dues to fluid in the brain), Parhan directly at the residence of a toddler with hydrocephalus (08/01). At that time, Risma immediately brought and referred Ananda Parhan to the "Handayani" Center in Jakarta on Tuesday (11/01) for social and medical treatment. Parhan, who is always accompanied by his mother, Rosita, is now starting to show better medical developments.

On Thursday (27/01), Parhan was given surgery to install a urinary tube in the head to help reduce pressure on the brain. Furthermore, in March 2022, Parhan also received surgery on the nose that was previously swollen. Until now, Parhan continues to control the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) Jakarta for examination and preparation for surgery on the eye.

Today (11/05), when Parhan carried out routine checks, the Minister was accompanied by dr. Sumariyono, S.pD-KR, MPH, and the CEO of Kitabisa.com, Alfatih Timur, attended and accompanied, and monitored Parhan's physical development. With a cheerful face that continued to smile and made a small voice, Parhan welcomed the arrival of the Minister. In addition, Minister Risma also advised Rosita to keep always enthusiastic and continue to support the development of Parhan.

"Meanwhile you are in Jakarta, you can learn entrepreneurship and continue to accompany Parhan until he recovers", Risma said. Then Rosita just nodded and kept shedding her tears.

In addition, Social Minister Risma also witnessed the handover of donations from thousands of good people through Kitabisa.com for IDR 83,627,512 for Parhan represented by Rosita. Furthermore, MoSA through the "Handayani" Center in Jakarta also provides ATENSI services in the form of fulfilling decent living needs such as milk, pampers, clothes, sandals, shoes, toys, and others.

Before leaving RSCM, Social Minister Risma took the time to visit other children who were also being cared for in the same room as Parhan and gave directions for an assessment and attention to all the children's needs.

Social Minister Risma will continue to monitor the development of Parhan and several children who find it difficult to meet their needs.
