Social Minister Gives 3.5 B Auction Result to Elderly and People Needing Social Welfare Services (PPKS)

JAKARTA (4 March  2021) - The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs symbolically gives the Unpredictable Prizes (HTT) and aid packages to the elderly and People Needing Social Welfare Services (PPKS).

"The Auction Result of the Unpredictable Prizes will be given to the elderly PPKS or the beneficiaries,” said Social Minister Tri Rismaharini in the lobby room of the Ministry of Social Affairs accompanied by Director General of Social Empowerment Edi Suharto in Jakarta, Thursday (4/3/2021).

The auction result is divided into three posts. First, a total of IDR 2.674.751.158 is given to beneficiaries of Social Rehabilitation Centers and Social Welfare Institutions. Second, a total of IDR 809.092.288 in the form of goods is given to disaster victims. Third, a total of IDR 33.362.000 is given to elderly in DKI Jakarta in the form of health aids. The total of auction result is IDR 3,517,205,446. 

The auction result from Directorate of Social Assistance Fund Resources Management (PSDBS) is symbolically given to Social Centers of the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation. The symbolic recipients are Andry Prayogo from Tan Miyat Center, Rudi Hamdan from Melati Center, Ahmadsyah Rosa from Bambu Apus Center, each person receives a laptop. Aminah from Pangudi Luhur Center Bekasi receives a laptop and a washing machine while Irfansyah from Mulya Jaya Center Jakarta receives a TV, a refrigerator, and a washing machine.  

There are also aid packages for the elderly from the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation which is symbolically given to Minah, a representative beneficiary, by members of DKI Jakarta City Council.   

Similar aid is given to the elderly through members of the Banten Regional Council and Banten Province Social Welfare Institution represented by the Chairperson of Pusaka Az Zahra Pandeglang Social Welfare Institution for Elderly in the form of 5 aid packages of wheelchair, disinfectant, hand sanitizer, thermo gun, ear loop and head loop masks.

Health aids worth IDR 33,362,000 is given to the elderly in the form of 5 Appola Type Avico wheelchairs, 7 Stella wheelchairs, 5 boxes of Multi One ear loop masks, 5 boxes of Multi One Head loop masks, 5 jerry cans of 4.0 L hand sanitizer, 5 jerry cans of 5 L disinfectant, 5 Clock Thermo Guns, 11 nutritional packages, and 4 box of diapers. 
The list of Unpredictable Prizes or unclaimed prizes by winners will be given to the Directorate General of Social Protection and Security (Linjamsos) for disaster management, in the form of blenders, balls, water dispensers, fans, gas stoves, lights, clothes, umbrellas, cutlery, cooking utensils, rice cookers, blankets, shoes, and vouchers.

List of Unpredictable Prizes or unclaimed prizes by winners which will be handed over to the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation for Social Welfare Institutions or beneficiaries are in the form of TV, refrigerator, washing machine, home theater & speaker, AC, cleaner, coffee machine, data storage device, party gowns, vehicle spare parts, dictionaries, merchandise, beauty tools, batteries, accessories, office electronics, mobile phones, vehicle equipment, and bags.
