"The PPKS data that we received through the "Nipotowe" Center in Palu in 2021 for the Central Sulawesi region was 1,519 people. The data comes from the City and Regency Social Office as well as from companions and Social Welfare Institutions (LKS),” he explained.

"We hope that the local government through the City and Regency Social Office, so that cooperation and coordination related to PPKS data need to be improved so that more people are affordable and get benefits," said Syaiful.

In line with this, Matindas J. Rumambi who attended and witnessed the handing over of aid to PPKS at Nipotowe Center in Palu also appealed to local governments through the Social Office to be proactive in updating data.

“All PPKS data is currently based on DTKS data. PPKS data is the responsibility of local governments. However, there are still many regions that are less active in updating data,” said Matindas.

Therefore, Matindas emphasized to the heads of regency and city social office in Central Sulawesi Province to convey to regional leaders to pay attention to data needed for social welfare services and budget allocations to update data.

“One of the ministries with the largest budget is the Ministry of Social Affairs. If we are not proactive in updating data, then it is very unfortunate if PPKS in our area do not get the benefits just because we do not contribute to providing data,” explained Matindas.

He also emphasized that social service is a responsibility and an oath of office that we must carry out.

At the event, ATENSI aids were distributed to PPKS in the form of sewing machines, agricultural tools and seeds, mixed kiosk business assistance, entrepreneurship assistance in selling cakes, basic needs assistance, salon business, wheelchairs, prosthetic limbs, cane smart for the blind, and so on.
