JEPARA (September 8, 2021) -The Ministry of Social Affairs was present through the Surakarta "Prof. Dr. Soeharso" Center to respond to the problem of the need for Social Welfare Service Recipients (PPKS) in Jepara Regency, Central Java.

 

Following up on the direction of the Minister of Social Affairs regarding PPKS problems in the Jepara Regency. In this regard, the Ministry of Social Affairs through the Balai Besar "Prof. Dr. Soeharso" sent a team to conduct an assessment related to this problem. The officer coordinates with the Jepara District Social Service.

 

The team consisting of Social Workers and Service Administrators visited the PPKS residence:

1. Muhammad Rizqi Ramadhan

Born July 5, 2016, suffers from Paraplegia, the 2 small and limp legs suffered since birth. Rizqi is a lively and intelligent child, but because he suffers from paraplegia, currently he is more active at home. The mobility aids owned by the skateboard are used inside the house, while outside the house uses a 3-wheeled bicycle with battery power assembled by his brother. From the results of the assessment of officers who were accompanied by village officials. He requires a small standard wheelchair.

 

2. Fibi Aluma, born April 26, 2016. Suffers from CP Hemiplegia (left hand and foot). Currently, she is still following therapy at the Jepara Hospital 1 week 2 times using KIS. She does not yet have mobility aids, so their parents always carry them. From the results of the assessment by officers at her house accompanied by the Village Head and TKSK, PPKM needs to be assisted in a CP wheelchair to facilitate mobility.

 

3. Dewa Amora Kristiana Yogi Pramesti, born April 9, 2014. Suffers from Quadriplegia (both hands and feet are stiff), which has been suffered since birth. Currently, she does not have mobility aids so she is always be carried. Her parents are divorced, her mother works, every day she is at home with her grandmother. Her parents received BST Village Fund assistance and in 2021 they received RTLH renovation assistance. From the results of the assessment of officers who were accompanied by village officials and TKSK. She needs to get CP wheelchair assistance.

 

4. Muhammad Nurcahyo, born February 13, 2014. Suffers from CP Spastic Diplegia, currently activities only in a wheelchair (modified by his parents). Both parents work, father as a laborer and mother selling food. From the results of the assessment of officers in the field who were accompanied by village officials, he needed to get CP wheelchair assistance. PPKS parents receive Village Fund BST assistance.

 

In addition to the 4 PPKS, they need to get wheelchair assistance. Considering that all of them are still children, they need to get better nutrition for their growth and development.
