The Ministry of Social Affairs Holds Social Solidarity Month (BBKS) 2020 in Tomohon
TOMOHON (December 18, 2020) - After symbolically handing over 6 billion in aid for the people of North Sulawesi at the Month of Social Solidarity Service (BBKS) at the Anugerah Hall, Paslaten Satu Village, East Tomohon District. Representing the Ad Interim Minister of Social Affairs, Muhadjir Effendy, Director General of Social Empowerment Edi Suharto, took the time to visit several points of social service locations in Tomohon City.
While observing the Sinambey Joint Business Group (KUBE) in Kinilow Village, North Tomohon, the Director General of Social Empowerment hoped that the assistance provided would be able to improve the economy of his family and group.
"The KUBE assistance worth twenty million for ten people in one group is planned to be used by KUBE Sinambey for the business of making ready-made tents," said Mr. Handri Polakitang, the Head of KUBE Sinambey.
"We have only received this KUBE assistance this time. Previously we made tents from bamboo. Now with this assistance, we can make ready-made tents," added Mr. Handry at the end of his interview.
As a series of National Social Solidarity Day (HKSN), BBKS is the right momentum to increase mutual cooperation among all levels of society.
