CIAMIS (9 September 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through Social Rehabilitation Center “Ciungwanara” distributed 44 assistive devices for people with Physical and Sensory Disabilities in Ciamis Regency. Through the assessment process that was carried out first, as many as 44 tools were given according to the recommendations.

 

The process of handing over the assistance was carried out at the Ciamis District Social Office. The Social Service was represented by the Secretary, Nandang Nugraha, the message was conveyed to the Ministry of Social Affairs, gratitude for all forms of attention to people with disabilities in their area.

 

"Hopefully this attention and assistance will provide great benefits for Persons with Disabilities, able to increase independence in carrying out daily activities," concluded Nandang.

 

The assessment process that has been carried out by the Ciungwanara team in collaboration with PERDOSRI, resulted in recommendations that became the priority scale for assistive devices given to persons with disabilities.

 

After the recommendation, the Ciungwanara team coordinates with the tool provider. In procuring tools, Ciungwanara team cooperates with the AOP RSHS Bandung. Yusuf as a representative of AOP explained that the tools provided were following the results of the referral, "we are ready to assist in terms of treatment, recipients of assistance can contact me at any time as a form of maintenance," said Yusuf.

 

Head of Ciungwanara Bogor, Siti Sari Rumayanti congratulated the recipients of the aids, "Hopefully these aids can improve your mobility, we hope that these tools can be used properly and please taken care of it," said Siti Sari Rumayanti .

 

S, one of the recipients of the aid, said thank you very much. "My old crutches are broken, thank God I was given a new one, so I can use it more optimally for work," said S.
