MATARAM (July 27, 2021) – The Ministry of Social Affairs through Social Rehabilitation Center “Paramita” Mataram has a Social Service Center (Serasi) which is proven to be effective in providing comprehensive information and education to the public directly. Communities become easy to access information about children, care, drugs, and other information services.

A young man named Putra (not his real name) came to the Social Service Center at 15:20 WITA and was immediately received by Budi Surya Hadi Pratama, a Social Worker. He reported that his biological mother had left the house 2 years ago.

Putra explained the possible reasons for this case. "It is an indication that my biological mother was depressed because my father left us and remarried another woman. My mother's age was between 55 and 60 years old, when my mother left the house she did not bring her identity with her,” he recalled.

Budi Surya listened to Putra's report and gave a step-by-step solution. "You need to report this to the police station in the area where you live, the Ministry of Social Affairs will assist in the reporting process," explained Budi.

Putra said that he lives in Banyumulek Mekarsari, Kediri District, West Lombok Regency. Putra hopes that his mother will be found soon. The Center will coordinate the search for the mother of the Putra to the police.

“Paramita” Center of Mataram always provides excellent service to the community through SERASI which can be accessed by the people.

The Head of the "Paramita" Center said that SERASI was the government's effort to bring service programs closer to the Social Welfare Service Recipients (PPKS). "We will provide the best information and solutions to various social problems according to PPKS needs," he concluded.
