The Ministry of Social Affairs Supports Providing Nutrition for Elderly in Cijantung
JAKARTA (September 18, 2021) - The Ministry of Social
Affairs through Social Rehabilitation Center “Panasea” Jakarta has distributed
Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) support in the form of providing
nutritional support to the elderly in Cijantung Village area, East Jakarta.
The provision of this
assistance is a follow-up to residents' requests for the needs of the elderly
affected by Covid-19 as well as from the results of the assessment that was
carried out on Tuesday (7/9/2021).
A total of 70 nutrition
packages in the form of rice, eggs, biscuits, honey, and liquid bath soap were
received directly by the elderly in two different locations, namely in RW 03,
38 packages were carried out in the local Elementary School (SD) yard and 32
packages at the RW 03 Secretariat office so as not to cause a crowd.
The distribution of
ATENSI support was handed over directly by the Head of the Jakarta Panasea
Center, Isye Sri Rahayu, and accompanied by the Head of the Social
Rehabilitation Service Section, Gunawan, and the Head of the Administrative Sub-Section
Vivi Marlina. In her speech, Isye said "There is indeed a program from the
Ministry of Social Affairs for services to the elderly, we hope this assistance
can help you all, especially in meeting basic needs, one of which is
food", she said.
On that occasion,
Suhartoyo, Head of RW 01 expressed his gratitude for the Ministry of Social's
attention to its citizens, "Thank God there is help and support from the
Ministry of Social Affairs, hopefully, this assistance can be useful for those
of you who are here. Hopefully, the staff of the Center will be given health,
long life, and the ease in carrying out their duties," he said.
