The Real Action of the Public Kitchen of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Live in 'Selamat Pagi Indonesia' Program
PATI (July 31, 2021) – The Ministry of Social
Affairs through Social Rehabilitation “Margo Laras” Pati greeted Indonesia
through a live broadcast of the Selamat Pagi Indonesia program on Metro TV
(31/7). The event was attended by the Head of Center, Jiwaningsih, and
one of the residents with mental disabilities, Heru.
This program is titled
the real action of people with disabilities working hand in hand to support health
workers and volunteers in the fight against Covid-19 in Pati Regency. Please
note that the Ministry of Social Affairs has contributed to organizing a public
kitchen to provide ready-to-eat protein support in the form of thousands of
eggs every day. Uniquely, mental disability beneficiaries are directly involved
in distributing public kitchen logistics to the Pati Regency Covid 19 Task
Force, Puskesmas (Public Health Center), and Hospitals.
"Following the
direction of the Minister of Social Affairs, that the Ministry of Social
Affairs’ Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) is to support efforts to prevent
Covid 19 and provide ready-to-eat nutritional support, a public kitchen is held
to distribute the logistics of 2,000 eggs for health workers, the Covid-19 task
force and volunteers who have been working hard to fight Covid-19," she
said. 19, we also involve beneficiaries to work hand in hand in distributing
eggs," said Jiwaningsih.
"I'm very happy to
be broadcast on TV, I've never been before, yesterday I also helped the public
kitchen, distributed eggs with all of you," said Heru confidently.
Heru's parents were also
