JAKARTA (February 19th 2020) - The Social Welfare Training and Education Center held a meeting with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on Wednesday, February 19th, 2020. The Head of the Social Welfare Training Center chaired the meeting which was also attended by echelon III and IV officials. This meeting took place in the context of exploring cooperation in the development of a Social Entrepreneurship Training module. Social Entrepreneurship Training is intended for Beneficiary Families (KPM) who have graduated from the Family Hope Program (PKH).

This Social Entrepreneurship Training is targeted to be held in 2020 and the Social Welfare Education and Training Center has a role to carry out a Training of Trainers (ToT) to prepare trainers to conduct this training at the Ministry of Social Affairs Education and Training Center and prepare learning modules. Considering that the KPM to be integrated and trained in social entrepreneurship is targeted at one million people, so the effectiveness and efficiency of training cannot be carried out conventionally as a whole. Therefore the training will also be carried out online / in the net (online). Online training requires an interesting and interactive e-Learning module, while the training module prepared by the new training center is in the form of a conventional module so it is necessary to migrate to the e-Learning module.

The process of migrating conventional modules is not the first time the Social Welfare Training and Education Center has been conducted. Previously the Education and Training Center had successfully migrated the PKH Social Assistance Training and P2K2 / FDS PKH Training modules through collaboration with the World Bank. Seeing this success, the Pusdiklat tries to explore cooperation with the Asian Development Bank to migrate the e-Learning module for Social Entrepreneurship Training

"Our success in conducting PKH e-Learning Training is recognized and appreciated by the State Administration Institution and other Ministries / Institutions for being able to conduct training for up to 21,000 people a year," said the Head of the DKSM Division.

The Asian Development Bank team said that they will study the Terms of Reference of the Social Entrepreneurship Training e-Learning module and see the opportunities for collaboration that can be carried out. [Akmal Permatasari]
