Vice President Ma'ruf Amin Gives Social Assistance to Communities in Kendari City
KENDARI (May 19, 2022) - Vice President of the Republic of
Indonesia KH. Ma'ruf Amin made a working visit to the Meohai Kendari Center on
Thursday afternoon (19/05/2022). The visit agenda is to provide social
assistance to the people of Kendari City.
Social assistance includes Social
Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) in wheelchairs for the elderly and hearing
aids (ABD). Another assistance is the Family Hope Program (PKH) and Non-Cash
Food Assistance (BPNT) from the Ministry of Social Affairs to the people of
Kendari City.
Previously, the Vice President
and his entourage laid the first stone for the Nusantara Industri Sejati
Industrial Estate (NIS) in North Konawe Regency. After doing a visit to North
Konawe, the Vice President and his entourage continued their journey to the Meohai
Center Kendari.
The Vice President and his
entourage arrived at the Meohai Center at 03:05 p.m. accompanied by his wife,
Mrs. Hj. Wury Ma'ruf Amin. In addition to the Vice President, the Governor of
Southeast Sulawesi H. Ali Mazi, the Director of BPJS Southeast Sulawesi and the
Indonesian National Baznas were also present.
Some of the symbolic
assistance handed over by the Vice President were residential ATENSI program in
the form of make-up assistance packages for La Ode Muhammad Samson and Sarmila
(persons with hearing-speech sensory disability) IDR 3,500,000,- each,
Tailoring assistance packages for Ayuh Wanda (persons with hearing-speech
sensory disability) IDR 3.500.000,-, Hearing Aid assistance (ABD) for Adit and
Nurma IDR 2,500,000,- and assistance of 3 units of elderly wheelchairs to Dg.
Amang, Kati and Jaenara.
The Family Hope Program (PKH)
assistance was given to Siti Solikhah IDR 1.350.000,-, Fitriyani IDR 750.000, -
and Nani Ariska IDR 975.000,-, BPNT in the form of a package of cooking oil to
Nuriyanti and Leni Marlina. In addition, the National Health Insurance
Contribution for the Healthy Indonesia Card (PBI JKN KIS) was also provided to
Marlin and Asman. All of the assistance are from the MoSA.
The delivery of assistance was
continued to BPJS Employment recipients and the delivery of assistance from the
National Zakat Charity Agency (Baznas) in the form of Baznas Santripreneur,
training costs, and business capital assistance. In his remarks, the Vice
President expressed his great hope that the assistance provided would be
useful.
