PROBOLINGGO (16 January 2021) - Director General of Poverty Handling, Asep Sasa Purnama visited PT Golay Tani Indonesia which is engaged in animal farm and bio-fertilizer production in Probolinggo Regency, East Java Province.

Also attending the informal discussion was Singgih Pramuda, Head of the Probolinggo POS Office, Lalan Sukmana, Director of Agricultural Operations, KH. Bram, as well as East Java Community Leaders.

On this occasion, the Director General conveyed to this forum on the potential of the community, especially Beneficiary Families (KPM) who have the potential in the livestock sector, but still have problems in the development and sale of livestock products.

"With the potential that KPM has, I will collaborate with H. Haris (entrepreneur PT. Golay Tani Indonesia) who is a pioneer in the field of animal farm who already has many partners in Indonesia and proven to have helped in raising their economy level," said the Director General.

Apart from selling livestock seeds, animal feed and livestock products with his business partners, H. Haris also buys livestock manure which is used as fertilizer with good quality.

This livestock carrier is able to realize H. Haris' dream of establishing three Islamic boarding schools in Probolinggo Regency which are also facilitated with livestock sheds to train students who study in his Islamic boarding school.

"We are optimistic that this collaboration will work and be able to raise the economic level of the community," said the Director General.
