Working Visit of the Minister of Social Affairs with Commission VIII of the House of Representatives to Semarang Regency
UNGARAN (3 September 2021) - The Minister of Social
Affairs, Tri Rismaharini accompanied by the Regent of Ungaran and her staff,
Commission VIII of the DPR RI, the Special Advisor to the Minister of Social
Affairs and a team from the Ministry of Social Affairs Jakarta made a working
visit in the context of distributing Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) services
to the Social Welfare Service Recipients (PPKS) and ATENSI Assistance in the
form of savings for orphans, fatherless and motherless whose parents died due
to Covid-19, in Semarang City, Semarang Regency, Salatiga City, Surakarta City,
Pekalongan Regency and Pati Regency.
The delivery of ATENSI
assistance was centered at the Ungaran Regent's office house.
ATENSI assistance to
orphans, fatherless and motherless from the Ministry of Social Affairs through
the Social Rehabilitation Center "Prof. Dr. Soeharso" Surakarta, to
children from Surakarta City and Pekalongan City in the amount of 200 people
with a total aid of Rp. 250,800,000,-.
For ATENSI assistance in
the form of entrepreneurial venture capital to 20 PM a total of Rp.
291.050.000,-. The symbolic handover was given to 4 people, namely 3 people
from Semarang Regency and 1 person from Semarang City in the form of a package
of welding equipment to Mukhamad Zuhdi (physical disability), 1 unit of sewing
machine to Maria Estri (hearing and speech disabled), 1 package to trade-in
basic food stalls and juice to Endang Astuti (6 people with hearing disabilities),
and 1 freezer unit to trade frozen food with Suci Astuti.
Bright and grateful faces
of the recipients can be seen when receiving ATENSI assistance, they expressed
their gratitude in sign language because 3 of them were people with hearing disabilities
and 1 person with physical disabilities, namely Mukhamad Zuhdi and it made the
atmosphere for a moment looks full of joy.
Minister of Social
Affairs Tri Rismaharini in her directive said that there is great hope for
orphans, fatherless and motherless to keep the spirit in living life strongly
because there is still God who will always help the children.
"Come on dear... you
can do it, you can do it... you can, dear. It's up to you whether you want it
or not, now the government has helped and is supported by the DPR. So the
children must continue their education until they finish or tell me what the
children's difficulties are, you can send a letter to the mother. Now the
children are no longer alone so that children remain strong with their dreams
so that they can become successful and great children", said the Minister to
the children.
