Anti-Narcotics Volunteers, Assist and Educate on Drug Abuse
BATURRADEN (November 2, 2019) - The Social Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Drug Abuse (BRSKPN) "Satria" in Baturraden declared Kemutug Lor Village, Baturraden District, Banyumas Regency as a Drug-Free Prosperous Village. A total of 10 residents were confirmed as Anti-Narcotics Volunteers in the Kemutug Lor Village. They will play an active role in providing assistance and education on the problem of drug abuse to families / communities in the Kemutug Lor Village area.
Director of Social Rehabilitation for Victims of Drug Abuse (RSKPN) Ministry of Social Affairs M. Nur Soleh in his speech said "If the family has great social resilience, they can certainly face and ward off the dangers of drugs".
On this occasion, M. Nur Soleh handed over the anti-drug volunteer vest symbolically as a sign of inauguration
Restyaningsih, Head of BRSKPN "Satria" Baturraden, revealed that the declaration of a prosperous drug-free village is a form of developing a service model provided by the institution by empowering the community in efforts to prevent and deal with drug abuse problems.
The activity which was carried out at the Kemutug Lor Village Hall, was attended by the Deputy Regent of Banyumas, the Chairperson of the DPRD, Danramil, the Head of the Banyumas Regency Police, the Head of the Banyumas Regency Social Service, the Banyumas Regency BNN, the Head of Baturraden Sub-District, the Head of the Baturraden District Police, the village head and his apparatus in the Baturraden area, figures community, as well as volunteers.
The Deputy Regent of Banyumas and the Head of Baturraden Sub-district expressed their support for the proclaiming of the Kemutug Lor Village as a Drug-Free Prosperous Village. Hopefully in the future Kemutug Lor Village can be used as a pilot for villages in the Banyumas Regency area.
