BENGKULU (2 June 2020) - After the Idulfitri 1441 H, the Bengkulu "Dharma Guna" Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Mental Disabilities (BRSPDM) distributed 81 packages of basic food assistance, with 30 packages in Central Bengkulu Regency and 51 packages in Muko-Muko Regency respectively.
The Head of Sub-Division for Administration of the Bengkulu "Dharma Guna" Center, Haris Sulianto, representing the Head of the Center, symbolically handed over the basic food assistance packages to the Head of the Central Bengkulu Regency Social Service.
His side relies heavily on assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs in the form of Basic Food Assistance, Cash Social Assistance (BST) and Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT).
The delivery of social assistance was carried out by inviting Beneficiary Families (KPM) from several villages while still implementing health protocols, including using masks, abiding social/physical distancing and using hand sanitizers.
Meanwhile, the distribution of basic food packages in Muko-Muko Regency was handed over directly by the Head of the Center, Dardi and received by the Regional Secretary of Muko-Muko Regency, Marjohan Husein who represented the Regent.
The local government is very grateful for the assistance provided to vulnerable and marginalized communities in Muko-Muko Regency. "Hopefully it can be useful and become a solution to alleviate the burden on people affected by COVID-19 at this time," said Marjohan Husein.
