BRSODH “Bahagia” Performs Assistance for LKS Bangka Belitung
BANGKA BELITUNG (November 5, 2019) - In order to introduce the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (BRSODH) “Bahagia” in Medan provided assistance to Social Welfare Institutions in the Bangka Belitung Islands. Taking place at Hotel Santika, Pangkal Pinang City, this activity was attended by resource persons, namely Sri Wibowo as Head of BRSODH “Bahagia” in Medan, M. Nasir as Head of Social Rehabilitation Division of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province Social Service, and Ismail Purnama as Chair of the Bangka Peer Support Foundation. Belitung.
On this occasion, Sri Wibowo conveyed the Social Rehabilitation Program 5.0 New Platform (PROGRES 5.0 NP), especially the progress of PLWHA, with menus namely Assistance (aiming assistance), Therapies covering physical, mental-spiritual, psychosocial and livelihood, Social Care, and Family Support (family support).
This activity, which is the center's assistance to LKS in each area, is useful for creating cooperation in handling social welfare problems for the Social Welfare Services Recipients (PPKS), especially people living with HIV / AIDS (PLWHA).
Through this activity, BRSODH “Bahagia” in Medan also did not forget to convey the development of social media in the context of efficient delivery of information from the hall to related agencies. Hopefully the BRSODH “Bahagia” relationship in Medan with related stakeholders can be established, both through discussion meeting activities and programs that can be accessed through existing social media.
