MAKASSAR (October 24, 2019) - The "Wirajaya" Social Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Physical Disability (BRSPDF) in Makassar in collaboration with the Indonesian Disability Movement for Equality (PERDIK) in South Sulawesi initiated the Inclusion Village Program.
Syaiful Samad as the Head of Social Rehabilitation Center with for Persons with Physical Disability (BRSPDF) "Wirajaya" Makassar said that to realize the Village of Inclusion, there were several stages that were prepared. One of them is through the Stakeholder Gathering activity which is carrying out the Stakeholder Gathering Activity Towards Strengthening the Inclusion Village, after which data and mapping have been carried out in relation to the supporting variables.
The location chosen for the activity was Kambuno Village, Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi. The choice of Kambuno as the locus of the Inclusion Village is certainly inseparable from several considerations, including the seriousness and attention of the local Village Government who is very concerned in fighting for the basic rights of its citizens who experience disability.
"Concern of the Kambuno Village must be responded to and supported so that what becomes its dream in the fight for equality for persons with disabilities can be realized," said Syaiful Samad.
Furthermore, Syaiful Samad said that realizing the Inclusion Village was a social rehabilitation service carried out outside the Balai, both in the aspect of providing Therapy, Family Support, including the provision of Technical Support services in the form of regulations and capacity building for Human Resources, especially from the village cadres to realize the Social Rehabilitation Program for Persons with Disabilities (PD Progress).
On this occasion, the Head of Kambuno Village, Syahrullah, in front of the Head of the Social Rehabilitation Division of the Social Service of the Bulukumba Regency Sudirman welcomed and appreciated the Ministry of Social Affairs in this matter "Wirajaya" Social Rehabilitation Center with for Persons with Physical Disability (BRSPDF) and was even ready to support the realization of the Inclusion Village in its working area.
