“Budhi Dharma” Center Provides ATENSI Distribution for Elderly in Wonosobo

WONOSOBO (26 November 2021) — The Ministry of Social Affairs through Social Rehabilitation Center “Budhi Dharma” Bekasi continues the process of distributing Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) support for the elderly. On Friday (11/26/2021) LKS LU Pelangi Nusantara 09 immediately visited the Social Division of Bank Mandiri KCP Wonosobo to open an account book and ATM for 10 elderly.

Considering the distance traveled and the condition of the elderly who are not all healthy, the account opening of 10 elderly beneficiaries went smoothly through video calls.

The chairman of LKS LU Pelangi Nusantara 09, Farida expressed her gratitude to Bank Mandiri for overseeing the account opening process and stated the readiness of LKS LU Pelangi Nusantara 09 to oversee the process of distributing aid to the hands of the elderly.

"We are very grateful, God willing, this assistance will be a blessing for all of us, institutions, our elderly, and also Bank Mandiri," said Farida

The delivery of assistance to the elderly is manifested in the form of goods whose purchases use aid funds from the elderly's accounts following the needs of the elderly, while others are used as business capital, additional needs, nutritional needs, and clothing needs for the elderly.

Mbah Kurniyah, who is familiarly called Mbah Tambeng, is one of the elderly recipients of nutritional assistance and business capital assistance to sell urap and cap cay vegetable rice. She expressed her gratitude to the Ministry of Social Affairs, LKS LU, and Bank Mandiri for assisting him.

“I thank the Ministry of Social Affairs, LKS LU Pelangi Nusantara 09 and Bank Mandiri. I got nutritional assistance and business capital so I don't have to look for another loan for capital,” said Mbah Tambeng.

The same thing was conveyed by Mbah Dul Chamit who received additional assistance in nutrition and clothing as well as worship equipment. He feels grateful. "Ma'am, my cap is number 5," said Mbah Dul Chamid excitedly.
