TEBO (15th June 2020) - The Ministry of Social Affairs, through the Children's Center "Alyatama", has distributed basic food assistance to children affected by COVID-19 at the Child Welfare Institution (LKSA) in Tebo Regency. The LKSAs that were the targets of this activity were LKSA Muhammadiyah Tebo totaling 27 children, and LKSA Darul Falah totaling 73 children.
The basic food packages distributed to the children contained rice, eggs, milk, sausages, cereals and biscuits. Providing basic food assistance as a form of attention and presence of the Ministry of Social Affairs to the affected children so that they can meet their food needs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"I am grateful, today is a memorable day to see a number of the assistance packages coming to our office to be handed over to children from LKSA in Tebo Regency," said Zaitun as Head of Women Empowerment, Child Protection and Social Rehabilitation of Tebo Regency Social Service.
The event for the delivery of basic food assistance was carried out at the Social Service for Women Empowerment and Child Protection Office in Tebo Regency.
The handover was attended by the Head of PP & PA Social Service of Tebo Regency, the Head of the PPA and Social Rehabilitation Division, Sakti Peksos (The Social Worker Service Unit), the Chair of the LKSA, and the children who received the assistance.
