"Ciungwanara" BRSPDI Bogor is Present in Cimahi City through Social Assistance
CIMAHI (5 June 2020) - A total of 99
packages of basic necessities were distributed by the Social Rehabilitation
Center for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (BRSPDI) “Ciungwanara” in
Bogor to persons with disabilities and communities affected by COVID-19 in the
Cimahi City area at the South Cimahi District Office. Recipients of basic food
assistance consist of three districts, namely South Cimahi, Cimahi Tengah and
Cimahi Utara Districts.
Head of BRSPDI "Ciungwanara" Bogor, Esa Sumantri, said that BRSPDI "Ciungwanara" was here to help Cimahi residents who were affected by COVID-19. "Hopefully this 104 basic food aid packages will be useful for all," said Esa.
Head of the Social Rehabilitation Center of the Cimahi City Social Service, Lilis Pujiwanti, also accompanied the process of distributing this aid. "We would like to thank BRSPDI" Ciungwanara "Bogor for providing basic food assistance to residents in Cimahi City," said Lilis.
In addition, the recipients of the basic necessities, namely parents of children with intellectual disabilities, Hernawati thanked BRSPDI “Ciungwanara” Bogor for the basic food assistance provided to Cimahi residents, especially their children. "Hopefully BRSPDI" Ciungwanara "Bogor will progress further," said Hernawati.
After completing the distribution of 99 food packages in Cimahi Selatan District, the BRSPDI "Ciungwanara" team continued to distribute 5 basic food packages in Bandung City to former BRSPDI "Ciungwanara" Bogor beneficiaries who were affected by COVID-19 to their respective homes.
