Commemorating HLUN 2022, MoSA Shares Happiness with Elderly in Taraju District
TARAJU (May 29, 2022) – Happiness is clearly shown on the face of
Rodiah (72 years) a resident of Cipanunjang Village, Taraju District,
Tasikmalaya. In her old age, Rodiah can breathe a sigh of relief because her
house is now more comfortable to live in.
Neatly arranged brick walls have now replaced the house that previously had bamboo walls and holes in some corners. In
addition, the contents of the house also increased with new bedding and a set
of kitchen furniture.
Rodiah became one of the recipients of the
Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) of MoSA after previously undergoing a
comprehensive assessment carried out by Social Worker officers from the
"Satria" Center Baturraden, the District Social Welfare Personnel
(TKSK), and the Taraju District Government.
Not only Rodiah but the feeling of happiness was
also felt by other elderly residents in Taraju District. Dioh (75 years) a
resident of the village of Giantri and Mpud (68 years) in the village of Banyu
Asin received a wheelchair. The wheelchair assistance was handed over directly
by the Head of the "Satria" Center Baturadden, Darmanto, at their
respective residences on Saturday (28/5).
The provision of ATENSI is part of a series of
National Elderly Day Commemorations (HLUN) 2022. MoSA through "Satria"
Center Baturraden distributed ATENSI program of IDR 182,400,000,- for the elderly in
Taraju District, Tasikmalaya Regency.

The peak of the commemoration of the 26th HLUN

based on the Social Welfare Integrated Data (DTKS) in 2022, the number of
elderly in Tasikmalaya Regency is 28,950 people, the most commonly found in
Indonesia.
MoSA will simultaneously assist in
39 sub-districts in Tasikmalaya Regency. The assistance consisted of ATENSI,
