EAST LOMBOK (August 1, 2022)
– National Child Day (HAN) 2022 falls on July 23, celebrated today, Monday
(01/08) in East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province.
The event's highlight was centered at the East Lombok Regent's Office on August 1, 2022. Present
on this occasion was the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini, Senior High
Officials, and related parties of MoSA, East Lombok Regent Sukiman Azmi, and the
East Lombok Regency Forkompinda (Communication
Forum for Local Leader).
The theme of HAN 2022 is
"Protected Children, Advanced Indonesia" and the tagline is "Great
Indonesian Children". Meaningful themes motivate Indonesian children to chase
their dreams.
HAN 2022 series took
place at 17 points consisting of 5 sub-districts in East Lombok Regency, 10
community points in the 3T area, and 2 points in the Centers and Integrated
Centers of the Ministry of Social Affairs.
HAN 2022 is expected to
be a moment for children from all over Indonesia to communicate with each
other.
In particular, Terara
District, East Lombok Regency, was given ATENSI Program Assistance by the Ministry
of Social Affairs through "Meohai" Center Kendari for IDR
400,000,000 with a target of 200 children. The assistance included nutrition,
school equipment, toiletries, wheelchairs, blankets, and multivitamins.
Husnuddu'a as the Tetera
District Head said that "Thank you very much to the Ministry of Social
Affairs and "Meohai" Center Kendari who have provided services and
assistance to our community and of course Happy National Children Day 2022,
Protected Children, Advanced Indonesia", he closed his remark at the
Terara District Hall.
Lalu Golansiswadi the
parent of Lalu Hakam Wirapaksi Recipient of the ATENSI Program in the form of a
wheelchair said that "thank you to the attention of the Ministry of
Social Affairs for providing a wheelchair to my child, this assistance is beneficial for us", he said while touched.
Apart from assisting, there were also a series of activities to commemorate HAN 2022,
especially in Terara District, including health services, fulfillment of
children's civil rights, playing with children, as well as social campaigns for
1,439 students, both elementary, middle and high school, which were carried out
before the peak day.
One of the series of
playing activities with children, for example, "the children are very
enthusiastic, they have fun playing together, it seems they are very active in
participating in games that are participated in by toddlers to middle school-age children," said Jasman as a social worker from "Meohai"
Center Kendari.
The games included playing slimming, spooning marbles, snakes and ladders, yoyo,
congklak, puzzles, folk songs, and assembling donuts. This activity was carried
out by the collaboration between the Directorate of Potential Social Resources
of the Ministry of Social Affairs and the "Meohai" Center Kendari and
Terara District.
