TANGERANG (10 March 2022) - The Ministry of Social Affairs together with
Member of Commission VIII of the House of Representatives (DPR RI), Muhammad
Rizal, symbolically handed over ATENSI, PKH, and BPNT aid worth a total of Rp.
200.222.259.217,- to the Beneficiaries (PM) in the Tangerang Regency, Tangerang
City, and South Tangerang City. The symbolic handing over of aid was carried
out in the Kresek District Hall, Tangerang Regency, Banten.
The Director of Social Protection for Social
Disaster Victims (PSKBS), Harapan Lumban Gaol as the Person in Charge of the
Ministry of Social Affairs said that in 2022, the Ministry of Social Affairs
has integrated the distribution of ATENSI, PKH, and BPNT social assistance.
"For the period January to March 2022, the
Ministry of Social Affairs through Social Rehabilitation Center “Melati” Jakarta
has distributed Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) program for 694 PM.
ATENSI program is provided in the components of Entrepreneurship Development,
Accessibility Support, Nutrition, Fulfillment of Decent Living Needs, and
Assistance for Orphans Affected by Covid-19. Furthermore, the Non-Cash Food
Assistance (BPNT) program for 201,789 PM, and the Family Hope Program (PKH) for
116,350 KPM, "he explained.
"We hope that collaboration between the
Central and Regional Governments will be better carried out in the context of
accelerating the realization of the distribution of social assistance to the
community and ensuring that social assistance is right on target," he said.
Muhammad Rizal, Member of Commission VIII of the House
of Representatives in his speech reminded social rehabilitation companions to
improve the data on recipients of social assistance.
"We have agreed with the Minister to improve
the data on recipients of social assistance, at least once every 3 months the
data on recipients of social assistance will be updated. The facilitators must
re-list the people who have not entered the DTKS (Social Welfare Integrated
Data). Make sure that the social assistance is not misdirected, if there are
recipients of assistance who are not eligible, it should be revised because the
social assistance is intended for people in need," said Muhammad Rizal.
"We appreciate the Ministry of Social Affairs'
quick movement in accelerating the distribution of social assistance,
especially in the Greater Tangerang area. It is our shared responsibility to
monitor the distribution of social assistance and ensure its use to improve the
social welfare of the community," concluded Muhammad Rizal.
On the same occasion, ATENSI entrepreneurship social assistance was symbolically handed over to 17 beneficiaries, ATENSI Orphans affected by Covid-19 for 13 beneficiaries, PKH 10 beneficiaries, and BPNT 10 beneficiaries.
