Detection of the Spread of the Covid-19 Virus, "Ciungwanara" Center Conducts Antigen Swab Routine
CIBINONG (July 26, 2021) - The Ciungwanara Center, a Technical Implementation Unit under the Ministry of Social Affairs, is committed to early detection of the COVID-19 virus through regular antigen swab tests conducted weekly.
These antigen swab tests were held in the courtyard of Cafe Ciwa at the Ciungwanara Center, with the participation of 51 employees, Non-State Civil Apparatus Government Employees (PPNPN), 11 beneficiaries, and 9 Disaster Response Volunteers (Tagana) currently serving in the public kitchen.
Out of the 71 individuals tested, one employee received a positive result for COVID-19. Subsequently, a PCR test was conducted and the result will be expected tomorrow. Currently, two employees are in self-isolation, bringing the total number of exposed and self-isolating employees in the Ciungwanara Center to three.
"We wish for the good health of all our employees, including Civil Servants (PNS), PPNPN, beneficiaries, and Tagana officers working in public kitchens. Our goal is to ensure their well-being and enable them to provide optimal service in supporting healthcare workers, managing funerals, and assisting those affected by Public Activity Restrictions (PPKM). Prompt self-isolation helps break the chain of COVID-19 transmission. We believe individuals currently undergoing a period of self-isolation remain shielded from severe symptoms and experience a speedy recovery," stated Siti Sari Rumayanti, Head of Ciungwanara Center.
As of July 25, 2021, Ministry of Health data indicated 3,194,733 people were exposed to the COVID-19 virus, with 560,275 still considered exposed, 2,549,692 declared recovered, and 84,766 reported deaths.
The government encourages citizens to get vaccinated by obtaining information through online media. Hopefully, the vaccinated individuals will develop stronger antibodies, providing greater protection against COVID-19 compared to those who have not received the vaccine.
"We hope the COVID-19 pandemic will end soon, allowing the world to return to normalcy without fear or anxiety. Our aspiration is for everyone to resume daily activities with a sense of comfort," concluded Sari.
