Dharma Guna Center Conducts Evacuation of Stocks Victims in South Bengkulu Regency
Bengkulu (JUNE 22, 2022) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through Dharma Guna
Center Bengkulu will respond to cases of stocks victims in the Bengkulu Regency.
Mental disability is often a problem for society in general which makes
residents feel disturbed by the presence of the persons with mental
disabilities (ODGJ) but they are still a concern and get protection for a decent
life in the community.
Protection for Persons with Mental Disabilities is
by providing rehabilitation and medical care that can help them recover and be
effective in the community. Dharma Guna Center Case Response Team received
information from the South Bengkulu Social Office to be able to evacuate stocks
victims in two sub-districts, namely Pino and Kedurang sub-districts. The case
response team, totaling five (5) people, went directly to the location to
evacuate the stocks victims.
Diah Winarsih the Head of Inspectorate of South
Bengkulu Regency Government said that “we were greatly helped by Dharma Guna Center
Bengkulu which help to evacuate the victims of stocks and brought them to be
referred to the Soeprapto mental hospital, we thank you very much for the
assistance from MoSA through Dharma Guna Bengkulu Center which has paid
attention and provided assistance evacuation to our community in South
Bengkulu, said Diah.
Evacuation of the Stocks Victims is a stage of
Rehabilitation for People with Mental Disabilities (ODGJ) to receive medical
treatment so that they can recover and live decently in the community, said
Marvikatin the person in charge of the working area of ​​ Dharma Guna Center
Bengkulu in South Bengkulu Regency.
