SEMARANG (6 June 2021) - Director General of Social Rehabilitation Harry Hikmat accompanied by the Team from Inten Suweno Cibinong Disabilities Center, the Galih Pakuan Bogor Resident Center Team, Antasena Magelang Children's Center, Satria Baturaden Resident Center, and Darussa'adah Aceh Children's Center paid a visit to PT Triangle Motorindo as a Viar motorcycle manufacturer in Semarang. This visit was carried out in preparation for the assembly of three-wheeled commercial motorcycles to be carried out in several Social Rehabilitation Centers.

 

Following the direction of the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini, 14 Balai have budgeted for the purchase of 405 units of disability-friendly three-wheeled motorcycles to be assembled by PMs at the Centers.

 

"We want to make sure that the basic product of the three-wheeled commercial motorbike that will be assembled by PM is safe. This visit is also to know that we have an idea of ​​​​what products from Viar can be assembled by PM at the Center," said Harry.

 

Directors of PT. Triangle Motorindo Husni Wijaya explained that the production of Viar's three-wheeled commercial motorcycles can be done according to customer requests. "We are present in various cities in Indonesia and are ready to cooperate with the Ministry of Social Affairs to supply the needs of assembling three-wheeled commercial motorcycles," said Husni.

 

Harry further explained that the Center must meet minimum standards in providing space and equipment for assembling a tricycle commercial motorcycle then assisted with assistance from PT Triangle Motorindo.

 

The assembly of this disability-friendly tricycle will be carried out by the PM in several Social Rehabilitation Center, one of which is the Galih Pakuan Resident Center, to be handed over to people with disabilities and other PPKS as a means of accessibility and for their socio-economic empowerment.
