Early Detection of the Spread of the Covid-19 Virus, "Ciungwanara" Center Re-Conduct Antigen Tests
CIBINONG (July 7, 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs, through Ciungwanara Center, is again carrying out the Antigen Rapid Test following up on the Service Note of the Head of the Organization and Personnel Bureau of the Ministry of Social Affairs dated 25 June 2021. This activity was carried out as an initial detection of the spread of the COVID-19 virus in the Ciungwanara Center environment in particular. Rapid antigen tests are carried out on all State Civil Apparatus (ASN), Non-Civil Servant Government Employees (PPNPN), and Beneficiaries.
In collaboration with the Fit Care Clinic led by Dr. Vidia Amanda, the rapid antigen test is implemented by implementing health protocols. "We really support the Ciungwanara Center program to carry out regular rapid antigen tests. "This can be used as an initial detection tool for someone confirmed as having COVID-19," said Dr. Vidia Amanda.
If the rapid antigen test results are declared reactive, it is recommended to immediately carry out a PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test which is used as a Covid-19 testing method by testing mucus samples taken from the nose and throat. "The results of this test will also produce a CT or Cycle Threshold number which can show an estimate of the amount of virus in the sample," explained Dr. Vidia Amanda.
Head of the Ciungwanara Center, Siti Sari Rukmayanti, explained that the rapid antigen test activity which is carried out periodically is a form of follow-up to the direction of the Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini and a form of effort to detect the initial spread of the Covid-19 virus within the Ciungwanara Center.
"Hopefully all kinds of efforts that we carry out can minimize the spread of COVID-19 in our beloved Center," said Sari.
From carrying out rapid antigen tests on 36 ASN people, 34 showed negative results, 2 ASN people showed positive results, and PCR tests were immediately carried out. For 15 PPNPN negative results were obtained and 16 Beneficiaries were declared negative. The 2 ASNs who tested positive live in the Ciungwanara Center official residence, the families immediately carried out independent isolation while waiting for the PCR test results tomorrow.
“Maintain strict health protocols. Don't make it a big worry about Covid-19, because good body immunity must be maintained by always thinking positively. "May we all always be protected by Allah SWT, the Almighty God, so that we are protected from all diseases," concluded Sari.
