BATURRADEN (June 5, 2020) - The Director General of Social Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Harry Hikmat asked the center to accelerate and adapt in providing optimal rehabilitation services with different procedures and governance.

In his report, the Head of BRSKP Napza Restyningsih said that the center had refocused the budget for handling COVID-19 in the form of distributing social assistance to vulnerable and marginalized communities, especially in the drug cluster.
In the humanitarian context, said Harry, the Ministry of Social Affairs through the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) has another dimension related to productivity which demands sincerity to directly intervene in any difficult situation.
"We appreciate the refocusing that has been done by the hall. Meanwhile, for the sake of humanitarian work, there is no need to hesitate to make arrangements like before the COVID-19 period, including the room being rearranged, which is expected to resume operations next week, "asked Harry.
One of the positive track records of BRSKP Narcotics "Satria" in Baturraden is that preventive efforts in schools are not only made adjustments but also must be strengthened, continued and improved.
"It is necessary to establish and renew cooperation with schools by increasing preventive efforts with materials to avoid drug addiction among students," he said.
On this occasion, Harry Hikmat provided direction related to the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation in 2021, including five UPT activities in Social Assistance or Attention, including temporary shelters, case responses, standardization of center facilities, and capacity building of work partner LKS
After giving directions, the Director General of Social Rehabilitation and his entourage visited all operational rooms in the Satria Baturraden Drug Center complex, such as libraries, haircuts, screen printing, counseling and the Information and Education Center (PIE).
"The existence of the Baturaden Drug Information and Education Center (PIE) should be appreciated so it continues to be developed with all its potential and always innovates. The dormitory room needs to be returned to its original state so that the Beneficiaries (PM) is not like living in a barracks, ”said Harry.
Since its inauguration on November 2, 2019, PIE Napza Baturraden has become a public service that provides information, as well as educating the public regarding the dangers of drug use which is integrated with 5 social rehabilitation programs.
