PURWOKERTO (June 26, 2020) - Coinciding with the commemoration of the International Anti-Narcotics Day (HANI) 2020, "Satria" Social Rehabilitation Center for Drug Abuse Victims (BRSKP) in Baturraden became one of the speakers in an interactive dialogue entitled "Drug Rehabilitation in the Time of the COVID-19 Pandemic. 19 Towards Life 100%".
Taking place at the Purwokerto Satellite TV studio, together with the Head of the Banyumas Regency National Narcotics Agency (BNNK), this interactive dialogue discussed the HANI 2020 commemoration as a joint movement in combating drug abuse, including preventive and rehabilitative efforts carried out by institutions in the new normal.
In the midst of these limitations, there has been a change in service patterns. To suppress the spread of COVID-19, victims of drug abuse undergo a resocialization program with monitoring by officers from "Satria" Center in Baturraden via messaging applications and via telephone.
"In July, we are ready to return to providing services by implementing health protocols. Families have an important role to support the recovery process in order to live 100 percent," said Restyaningsih.
This was conveyed considering the family as the main base in the recovery of victims of drug abuse. The Center becomes a temporary shelter so that strengthening the families of drug abuse victims is also one of the services provided during the rehabilitation program.
The new normal is the beginning to increase work productivity. "Satria" Center in Baturraden responded to this by conducting a rapid test for all employees to sterilize the hall environment so that it will be maximal in providing rehabilitation services.
