JAKARTA (May 7, 2021) - The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs through 6 Centers/Social Rehabilitation Centers in the Jabobek area is again supporting the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination program by facilitating the pick-up of Persons with Disabilities from the Bhakti Luhur Foundation and escorting them to Istora Senayan Jakarta to undergo the COVID-19 vaccination 19.

Persons with Disabilities undergo COVID-19 vaccination at Istora Senayan. This is in line with President Joko Widodo's directives for groups with disabilities so they are not left behind by the reach of the Government.

The Ministry of Social Affairs dispatched 6 buses to pick up and escort 105 people with disabilities and their caregivers from the Bhakti Luhur Foundation, a social foundation that provides special attention to persons with disabilities with special needs, to Istora Senayan accompanied by 16 companions consisting of nurses and social workers Center for Social Rehabilitation.

"The attention from the Ministry of Social Affairs was extraordinary, we are grateful for the attention given to our target children," said Sisil, chairman of the Bhakti Luhur Foundation.

Agatha (45 years), one of the caregivers at the Bhakti Luhur Foundation felt that the second vaccination process went more orderly and smoothly "I am grateful and thankful for the support from the Ministry of Social Affairs for the implementation of this vaccine, now I am calmer both in mentoring and carrying out activities outside," said Agatha.

The implementation of the COVID-19 Vaccination for persons with disabilities and their caregivers from the Bhakti Luhur Foundation at Istora Senayan is the second COVID-19 vaccination.
