DELI SERDANG (June 23, 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through the "Insyaf" Center in Medan held a commemoration of the 2021 International Anti Narcotics Day (HANI) in the Center’s environment. This activity was enlivened by all beneficiaries, ASN, contract counselors and addicted social workers.

The implementation of the HANI event in 2021 is slightly different from the previous year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, participants remained enthusiastic about participating in every series of activities provided by the committee team by carrying out the health protocols recommended by the government to prevent the spread of COVID19.

The HANI activity at the Medan "Insyaf" Social Rehabilitation Center starts from June 23, 2021, until its peak on July 3, 2021. The HANI celebration is filled with various competitions in several sports such as Mini Soccer, Volleyball, Badminton, Table tennis, Chess, as well as real and virtual works of art such as thematic poetry competitions, thematic speeches.

In his direction, Sulaiman as the Head of the Medan "Insyaf" Center invited the beneficiaries to be enthusiastic and fight from the shackles of drug abuse.

"We need to remember, HANI's warning is not something to be proud of, instead we must realize and understand that Narcotics have a bad impact on health, socio-economics, and can trigger criminal acts," said Sulaiman.

In addition, added Sulaiman, the war against drugs is everyone's obligation. "We must save the younger generation for the sake of the family, nation, and country. Keep the spirit of carrying out the ATENSI program," said Sulaiman.

At the opening of 2021 HANI commemoration activity, all officers and beneficiaries made a commitment to the War on Drugs by giving their handstamps on the commitment sheet provided by the Committee.
