"Kartini" Center Promotes Multi Services for the Grobogan Community

GROBOGAN (2 June 2021) - Following up on the direction of the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharani that the Ministry of Social Affairs through its Centers provides services for people who encounter problems without exception, Kartini Temanggung Center intensively disseminates multi-service programs to the community and coordinates with the District/City Social Service.

The dissemination activity this time targeted the community in the Grobogan district, Central Java. Kartini Temanggung Center team visited the Grobogan District Government office and was received by the Deputy Regent of Grobogan.

Head of Kartini Temanggung Juena Br. Sitepu, explained the programs and services provided by Kartini Center. The Deputy Regent of Grobogan Regency, Bambang Pujiyanto in his speech expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the presence and explanation of the Kartini Center Team. "Because this is a new program, in-depth dialogue is needed and an MOU is needed as well," added Bambang.

After a dialogue with the Deputy Regent of Grobogan, Kartini Team headed to the Grobogan District Social Service office and carried out dissemination about multifunctional programs and services that were the task of the Kartini Temanggung. The participants are from the Social Service, Grobogan Difabel Community Forum (FKDG), and disability facilitators/activists. The Head of the Grobogan District Social Service, Edi Santosa said that this activity was very useful and opened new insights for the Grobogan community in solving social problems that existed in the community.

"Kartini Center provides services for people in need. Not limited to people with disabilities but all social problems, of course after an assessment is carried out," said Juena.

Also present were members of the Grobogan Regional House of Representatives Commission D, Mansata Indah Maratona. "The empowerment program for disability or social problems must be sustainable. For that, we are ready to oversee the program from Kartini Center," said Mansata.
