CIBINONG (14 July 2021) – Following the
instructions of the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini for the addition
of a public kitchen, Ciungwanara Social Rehabilitation of Bogor together with Inten
Soeweno Center and Disaster Preparedness Cadets (Tagana) continue to supply
nutritional needs (provision and distribution of boiled eggs) for scattered
medical personnel in several hospitals in Bogor and Cianjur Regencies. The
public kitchen of Ciungwanara Center is the 8th (eight) public kitchen that has
been established by the Ministry of Social Affairs.
Today Ciungwanara public
kitchen boils and distributes 6,000 eggs intended for medical personnel and
funeral workers spread over 7 (seven) hospitals in Bogor and Cianjur Regencies and
a cemetery in Bogor Regency.
Head of the Medical
Division of RSUD Sayang of Cianjur Regency, dr. Sani Sanjaya expressed his
gratitude for the assistance and attention from the Ministry of Social Affairs
through Ciungwanara Center.
"Hopefully, by
providing nutrition in the form of boiled eggs, the immune system of medical workers
can be better to be able to provide optimal health services to people
who are exposed to the COVID-19. Thank you, this assistance is a form of
support from the Ministry of Social Affairs for medical personnel. "We
feel that we are not alone in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic," said Sani.
In line with dr. Sani
Sanjaya, head of the Nutrition Installation of Ciawi Sindi Hospital, also
expressed his gratitude for the help of boiled eggs given to medical personnel
at Ciawi Hospital.
"This boiled egg
contains 154 kilocalories of energy, 12.2 grams of protein, 0 grams of
carbohydrates, 0 grams of fat, 54 milligrams of calcium, 0 milligrams of
phosphorus, and 2.7 milligrams of iron which are very good for maintaining the
body's immunity. Once again we thank Ciungwanara Center," said Sindi.
The head of the
Ciungwanara Center, Siti Sari Rumayanti, explained that the public kitchen,
which previously had only one tent, is now getting bigger with more personnel
consisting of Tagana, Ciungwanara Center employees, and Inten Soeweno Center employees
and additional from TKSK of Bogor Regency.
"In the next few
days it is possible that we will also provide boxed rice for medical personnel
and affected residents in the Bogor Regency and surrounding areas. We will do
what we can as much as possible in the face of this Covid-19 pandemic,"
said Sari.
