Koi Fish Cultivation Training is "Wyata Guna" Bandung Innovation in Empowering Persons with Disabilities
BANDUNG
(3 June 2021) - The Ministry of
Social Affairs through Wyata Guna Bandung Center, received a guest from Liputan
6 journalist, Ari Nugraha, for an interview about Koi Fish Cultivation Training.
Head of Wyata Guna Bandung Center, Sudarsono,
in his statement explained that the Koi Fish Cultivation Training for persons
with visual sensory disabilities is a challenge in the context of developing
the capacity. The Center fully supports by preparing infrastructure and all
other supporting instruments. Participants are all persons with disabilities,
not only the blind, because the concept of multi-service is following
the direction of the Minister of Social Affairs.
Full support is given by the Center because of
the direction of the Ministry of Social's policy on ATENSI (Social Rehabilitation
Assistance) for those who need social welfare services. For this Koi Fish
Cultivation Training Wyata Guna Bandung Center partners with the Koi fan
community to expand their knowledge, skills, and marketing. This network will
be developed continuously as an effort to develop ATENSI.
The target of the training can be done in a
week, provided the knowledge, skills, and infrastructure support are provided.
It is hoped that the training participants can be empowered according to the
skills they have to achieve independence.
Our plan is not only Koi fish but also
other ornamental fish, even getting support from the ornamental fish fan
community. The training will be carried out as soon as possible, after the
preparation process is complete, both modules, criteria, infrastructure,
instructors, and others.
