KUNINGAN (8 March 2022) - The Ministry of Social Affairs together with
Commission VIII DPR RI, Surahman Hidayat handed over ATENSI, PKH, and BPNT
assistance symbolically worth a total of Rp. 112,045,052,700,- in Kuningan
Regency. This assistance was handed over at the Winduhaji Village Office.
Previously, on March 7, 2022, the Ministry of
Social Affairs together with Surahman Hidayat handed over ATENSI, PKH, and BPNT
assistance in Ciamis Regency with a total of Rp. 145,633,625,000,-. This
assistance was handed over to Sports Hall Sinarbaya Rajadesa Village.
"For you are present here, must have a dream
that one day you who will love others and have to change their fate for the
better," said Idit Supriadi Priatna, Secretary of the Directorate General
of Social Rehabilitation.
Idit also hopes that someday the number of
recipients will decrease because many of them are independent and empowered.
"One day, Ciamis must reduce the number of beneficiaries, not like this
(still big in number)," he said.
Surahman welcomes the evidence of the Ministry of
Social Affairs’ commitment. "Thank God, the Ministry of Social Affairs is
led by a female, but not inferior to a male, very mobile, we pray for her to
maintain her health, enthusiasm and of course her achievements," he
explained.
The ATENSI service provided during the Recess Work
Visit of the House of Representatives Commission VIII in Ciamis and Kuningan
was in the form of wheelchair accessibility assistance, melodic wall clocks,
massage bed entrepreneurship assistance, goat livestock entrepreneurship
assistance, stall entrepreneurship assistance, assistance for residents
affected by landslides, child nutrition assistance. and crutches and ATENSI
savings for orphans, fatherless, and motherless.
Hazga (14 years) from Ciamis, one of the recipients
of wheelchair accessibility assistance, expressed his pleasure in getting this
wheelchair assistance because it can help her to run daily activities. Hazga
also expressed his hope.
"In the future, maybe an event like this
(handover of aid) can be held every year because there are many people like me
and some are even worse off," he said.
