"Meohai" Center Distributes Basic Food Assistance to Persons with Hearing and Speech Disabilities
KENDARI (May 22, 2020) – The Kendari “Meohai” Social Rehabilitation Workshop for Persons with Hearing and Speech Disabilities (LRSPDSRW) as one of the Ministry of Social Affairs’ Work Unit/Technical Implementation Unit (UPT), plays an active role in handling the impact of COVID-19, especially in the Kendari City area.
A total of 1,250 basic food assistance packages will be distributed through the LRSPDSRW “Meohai” Kendari to 4 regencies/Cities of Southeast Sulawesi. This basic food assistance package is aimed at people who deal with the impacts of COVID-19 in the community, especially Persons with Hearing and Speech Disabilities as well as Vulnerable and Marginalized people, as conveyed by the Head of LRSPDRW “Meohai” Kendari, Budi Sucahyono, in a series of distribution activities in Kendari City.
It is hoped that the acceleration of the distribution can also help the community in welcoming the Eid Al-Fitr 1441 H.
