SUKABUMI (July 21, 2021) - Phala Martha Center in Sukabumi, the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the Ministry of Social Affairs, carried out the slaughter of sacrificial animals on the occasion of Eid al-Adha 1442 Hijri. The slaughter of sacrificial animals is a routine agenda that is carried out by employees every year at the Center.
However, there is something different about the slaughtering process this year. Apart from receiving a deposit of sacrificial animals from several Center employees, the Phala Martha Center also received a sacrificial animal e.g. a cow, from the Director General of Social Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Raden Harry Hikmat.
In his speech, the Head of the Phala Martha Center Cup Santo expressed his gratitude, saying that the Phala Martha Center will conduct the sacrificial animal slaughtering service on Eid al-Adha.
"Thank God, today, we will slaughter sacrificial animals e.g. two cows and four goats. On this occasion, Mr. Harry Hikmat personally entrusted a sacrificial cow at the Phala Martha Sukabumi Center," added Cup Santo.
Mr. Harry Hikmat gave the mandate so that the sacrificial meat could be delivered and distributed to the beneficiaries and employees of Phala Martha Center and Kahuripan Center and the community members in the Center environment.
"Hopefully, this mandate and our sincere intention of worship, a form of devotion to Allah SWT, can be conducted. Hopefully, we can emulate the piety exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim AS and Prophet Ismail AS," said Cup Sapto.
"We would like to thank Mr. Harry Hikmat, who entrusted a sacrificial animal to Phala Martha Center. We would also like to express our thanks to the sacrificial committee and our fellow Center employees who worked together in organizing the slaughter of sacrificial animals. Hopefully, the sacrificial becomes a blessing and accepted by Allah SWT," he concluded.
The slaughter of sacrificial animals ran well by obeying health protocols. The sacrificial meat distribution to community members is distributed directly to residents' homes through their respective RTs so that there are no crowds of people queuing to exchange qurban meat coupons.
