CILACAP (3 March 2022) – The Ministry of Social Affairs together with
members of Commission VIII DPR RI, Wastam distributed social assistance for the Social
Welfare Service Recipient (PPKS) in Cilacap and Banyumas Regencies, Central
Java Province.
During the recess work visit of members of
Commission VIII DPR RI for the distribution of Social Rehabilitation Assistance
(ATENSI), monitoring of the Family Hope Program (PKH), and BPNT in 2022 at the
Menganti Village Office, Kesugihan District, and the Cilacap Regency Post
Office, legislators of Commission VIII DPR RI for Banyumas and Cilacap regions handed
over social assistance in 2022 from the Ministry of Social Affairs for Cilacap
Regency amounting to Rp. 162,346,050,000, which consisted of ATENSI program
from Social Rehabilitation Center “Satria” Baturraden for 146 Beneficiaries
(PM) worth Rp 74.400.000, Social Assistance for the Sembako Program/BPNT Phase
1,2 and 3 for 186,099 KPM worth Rp 111,659,400,000 and Phase 1 PKH Assistance
for 71,323 KPM worth Rp 50,612,250,000.
"Make sure that the cash assistance
distributed does not have a deduction for the recipient. Use it wisely to buy
rice, meat, vegetables, fruits, chicken, and fish. You are free to buy anywhere,
it can be at e-warong, neighboring stalls, and the important thing is that the
quality is better, cheaper, and you can get more goods. Don't be afraid to be
forced in any direction, because this assistance is for the good of the ladies
and gentlemen," said Wastam, a Member of Commission VIII DPR RI.
"I emphasize that here so that no one takes
advantage of the rights of parents who get or receive assistance from the
government. Use it as much as possible for welfare," said the member of
Commission VIII DPR RI from the constituencies of Banyumas and Cilacap
Regencies.
"This assistance will be further increased by
the Ministry of Social Affairs in collaboration with Commission VIII DPR RI
through the synergy of both parties," concluded Wastam.
Acting Head of Satria Baturraden, Darmanto conveyed
ATENSI program that was distributed in the form of basic needs, school
supplies, accessibility, entrepreneurship as well as assistance for orphans, fatherless,
and motherless (YAPI) whose parents died due to COVID-19. Assistance for YAPI
is IDR 200,000/month. At the time of delivery at the Post Office, each child
received Rp. 400,000 in cash (assistance in January and February 2022).
Zakat Purwadi, the parent of Aldo Anggi Fauzi
(Persons with Physical Disabilities), was pleased to receive wheelchair
assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs through the Satria Baturraden
Center.
