JAKARTA (30 July 2021) - A video is circulating on social media containing a blue rescue car involved in an accident with a cyclist. An account named @tribuntimur uploaded the video by stating that the incident took place on Jalan Nusantara, Makassar City, South Sulawesi, today (30/07).
The @tribuntimur account also mentioned the tweet to the official twitter account of the Ministry of Social Affairs @KemensosRI. Based on this information, it can be clarified that the car is a State Property (BMN) of the Ministry of Social Affairs which was loaned to the Takalar Regency Government, in 2017, with License Plate B 9551 PSD.
In the minutes of the car handover signed by both parties, it was stated that the Rescue Tactical Unit (RTU) car was handed over by the Ministry of Social Affairs to the Takalar Regency Government to support disaster management.
In Article 2 of the Handover Report, it is stated that the car is the responsibility of the Head of the Social Office (Takalar Regency Government). Article 3 states that maintenance and everything that arises during the implementation of the loan is the responsibility of the borrower (Second Party/Takalar Regency Government).
Regarding the video containing the viral car accident, today, Regent Takalar Syamsari revealed his statement on his Instagram account. He said that on that day, he received information from social media that the Rescue car belonging to the Takalar Social and PMD (Community and Village Empowerment) Office had hit a cyclist in Makassar.
