SUKABUMI (4 June 2020) - The efforts and commitment of Jakarta "Mulya Jaya" Centyer in handling the risk of the impact of COVID-19 for the Former Beneficiaries (PM) and the community continues to be carried out. Today the Social Assistance is distributed the form of Food Packages for Sinar Sukabumi Social Welfare Institution (LKS) and Independent Social Assistance for 10 beneficiaries.
The basic food assistance was given to 25 people assisted by Sinar Sukabumi LKS and 7 former beneficiaries. Meanwhile, the Independent Social Assistance was given to 10 beneficiaries with a total assistance of Rp50 million. The Head of the Section for Rehabilitation of Persons with Social Deviance Issues and Victims of Human Trafficking of the Sukabumi Regency Social Service, Amanudin, welcomed the distribution of social assistance activities. Aman expressed his gratitude and hoped that the synergy between regional and central governments would continue to run well.
"I thank you very much for the assistance given to the LKS and the former PM in Sukabumi. I hope that this collaboration will continue to run well in the future," said Aman.
While handing over the assistance symbolically, Edy Santoso, as the Head of the Social Rehabilitation Service Section of the "Mulya Jaya" Center told the former beneficiaries to be able to make the best use of the assistance for their lives.
"I hope the recipients of this social assistance can make the best use of what is given and develop their respective abilities to do independent businesses, as well as the assistance from Sinar Sukabumi LKS," explained Edy.
"I hope Sinar LKS will also continue to run the institution's operations well, provide assistance to the beneficiaries in disbursement and use of independence assistance according to the proposal that was previously submitted," added Edy to Mahbub Alpariji as the Head of Sinar Sukabumi LKS.
Rini, a beneficiary who currently only works to help her parents in trading, was grateful for the social assistance she received. It is planned that the basic food assistance will be used to meet their daily needs.
"Thank you sir, this is very helpful for me. Moreover, because of COVID-19 I do not get enough income for my daily needs," she said.
The "Mulya Jaya" Center has distributed 281 basic food social assistance packages out of a total of 450 packages sourced from the refocusing center budget up until now. It is hoped that the distribution of basic food assistance can be a helpful solution for beneficiaries during the COVID-19 pandemic.
