SURAKARTA (July 25, 2022) - MoSA through the Integrated Center "Prof. Dr. Soeharso" Surakarta was present in the community to commemorate National Children's Day (HAN) 2022. During a working visit, the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini in Surakarta City had the opportunity to assist in the context of National Children's Day 2022 to Yohanes Gabriele Bayu Pratama (9) or familiarly called Eye with cerebral palsy in Pucangsawit, Jebres, Surakarta.

 

ATENSI program provided in the form of a cerebral palsy adaptive wheelchair, children's toys, fruit parcels, nutrition (UHT milk, cereal, milk biscuits, and honey), children's clothes, pampers, children's bath soap, powder, wet wipes, and business capital assistance in the form of a diesel engine to grind tofu, with total assistance of IDR 16,217,500, -.

 

The aid was symbolically handed over by Jan Ethes Srinarendra, who is familiarly called Ethes, the grandson of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, accompanied by Minister Risma and his mother, Selvi Ananda, and the Mayor of Surakarta, Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

 

At the same time, Ethes also helped push the wheelchair that Eye was riding in the house. In addition, Ethes also gave toy cars and played together, and drank boxed milk with Eye.

 

In his explanation, Minister Risma in front of the media crew, on National Children's Day 2022, MoSA handles children who need assistance,

 

“We went to Solo to provide the assistance needed. I do ask for help from children who are more and care for children who are less and sick. Thank God and I say thank you to Mrs. Selvi and Mr. Gibran who have allowed Jan Ethes to come to Gabriele's residence, "said Risma.

 

Social Affairs Minister Risma also conveyed that through a moment like this we can teach children to care for other children who need help.
